Awadah Al-Ghamdi shared that his family has been breaking their fast in their traditional home, built in 1386 AH, for three consecutive years. He reminisced about preparing traditional dishes like fresh bread, aromatic coffee, and marisa, a blend of water and dates often mixed with lemon or ginger, while neighbors joined in the communal iftar.
This cherished tradition not only preserves Al-Baha’s cultural identity but also ensures that the spirit of Ramadan is passed down to future generations.
